Welcome to Crystal Palace Triathletes

We are a friendly and sociable club with over 160 members in and around the Crystal Palace area.

We have three coached swim nights - Tuesdays at St Joseph's College, Upper Norwood, Thursdays at The Bridge Leisure Centre, Lower Sydenham and Fridays at Dulwich Prep, a Club run on Wednesday evenings, meeting at Crystal Palace Park for a road run or track session, and a Club cycle on Sunday mornings. See the Training sessions pages for further details. You can decide how hard and how often you want to train.

We have members of all standards. Most members participate in sprint and Olympic distance races, with a growing number in middle distance and Ironman. We also have age-groupers who take part in the major races, both in the UK and abroad, including the National Championships at Shropshire. So don't be put off if you're not very good at one of the sports, you'll get lots of encouragement from existing members and don't forget it's never too late to learn!

Our Club Championships are held at sprint, Olympic, middle and Ironman distance, in 2009 Whiteoak, Swanage and Weymouth and any long distance race. This year's duathlon Club Championship will be held at the Jekyll and Hyde Park Duathlon. We also have a Novice championship race and a series of Club aquathlons.

CPT organises the annual Crystal Palace Triathlon at the National Sports Centre. The 2009 race will be held on 31 May 2009. We are hoping to return to the 50m pool in 2009 if refurbishment of the National Sports Centre is complete.
