Ella ran the Wimbledon 5k parkrun on Saturday 20 November. We also had runners at both the Wildman 15k and Wildman 10k runs, with Haydn coming first in his age group.
There were a few Crystal Palace runners at the Beckenham 10k Trail Run on Sunday. Pictured right are Emanuele (sporting his Movember moustache) and Mike (not wearing his CPT run vest!). More photos from the race can be seen on Tim Simpson's Flickr site.
There are also late results from the Druid Challenge on 12-14 November and the Hillingdon Duathlon on 14 November. This was a very successful race for CPT, with junior member Joe coming 3rd overall and 2nd Senior male, Kati 3rd female and Sally 1st female SuperVet. The juniors also achieved five podium places (a 1st, three 2nds and a 3rd). Well done to all. Photos from the Hillingdon Duathlon can be viewed on Simon Slater's website.

Adrian has been getting some amazing PBs at the Bromley parkrun recently. He's a a PT for David Lloyd and often runs with a client, so his times are a bit skewed!
He wasn't running in Bromley this week as he was hoping to break 1:30 hours at the Gosport Half Marathon. See how he got on ....

Crystal Palace Triathlon won the Triathlete’s World British Triathlon Event of the Year award, which was presented at the British Triathlon awards presentation in Leicester on Saturday 13 November.
The event was awarded the prize because 'it's a regular fixture on the calendars of not only triathletes from London, but from around the country and is widely held as one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly events in the UK'.
The award was collected on behalf of the Club by Karen Ayers, John Petrides, Bruce Ayers and junior member Adam Efrat. After winning the award, John commented "It’s fantastic, I had no idea. It goes to show that all the hard work put into organising the event has now been rewarded.”

Saturday saw CPT members running at the Crystal Palace parkrun, the Bromley parkrun (where a massive PB was achieved) and the Greenwich Movember 10k. Dave grew a moustache especially for the occasion. He says he's really pleased it's gone now, I bet his daugher is too! But it helped him come 3rd in his age group, so he was very pleased. Roger ran his fastest ever 10k time, breaking 50 minutes for the first time. His moustache was drawn on so he doesn't think that assisted his running! Dave D got lost on the course, or at least that's his excuse for his time!
On Sunday, Voy ran the Seaford Poppy Half Marathon and reports he ran his fastest time for a half marathon.
Chris and Phil set out on the Druid Challenge in the wind and rain on Friday, to cover 82 miles over three days. Chris got a massive blister and only finished day one, leaving Phil to hobble round the last two days on his own. The weather was much better on Saturday but there was rain pretty much all day Sunday. Phil's feet were suffering badly by the end of day three, but he finished. The final times aren't available yet, but I'll report as soon as they are.
